Eldership

Elder RandyElder Randall “Randy” Burton

works full-time as a Sales Representative Driver and serves at New Beginning as Worship Leader. Elder Randy’s five-fold calling is Pastoral. Because his calling is pastoral doesn’t necessarily mean he is a pastor in title or responsibility. It means that he loves people and has a genuine heart of concern for their well-being and spirituality. Elder Randy will be seen encouraging people, hugging them and blessing them with his warm smile. Elder Randy married LaGina Carter in 2002. He is the father of five children: Kaylah, Kennedy, Zachary, Jireh, and Joi. Having found true peace in God, Elder Randy’s favorite scripture is Matthew 11:28-30: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

Amen."

Elder RemusElder Remus Jones

Elder Remus will be seen passionately releasing the Word of God to His people, speaking to their future and direction and encouraging them during the trials of their lives. Elder Remus married Sherry Heard in 2004 and they are the parents to one daughter, Niya, and with God’s blessing, will have their second child in the near future. As a man who has learned that deeds must accompany faith in order to produce good success in all situations, Elder Remus' favorite scripture is James 2:26: "For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead."

Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits - who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's."
